About the Author

...has been playing the violin since he was 4 years old and has been teaching since 2012. He grew up in Tijuana, Mexico, then moved to Phoenix, AZ to continue his musical studies at International Baptist College and Seminary from 2017 to 2021. After graduating, he became director of String Orchestra at Arrowhead Christian Academy. Jesse has also been part of several musical groups such as the Youth Symphony of the Southwest, Symphony of the Southwest, Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra and the Arizona Pops Orchestra. Over several years, Jesse has carefully observed how students learn, what teaching materials are essential for young learners, and what keeps students wanting to keep on learning. Discovering quickly that so many method books are never a "one size fits all", and that he had to hand pick the best material out of several methods, having the right tool for the right student was often a challenge.
